  • 9 San Giorgio® lasagna noodles (uncooked)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pasta sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat and stir in the pasta sauce. Let simmer for 5–10 minutes
  3. In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper
  4. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread 1 cup of meat sauce. Place 3 uncooked lasagna noodles on top
  5. Layer with 1/3 of the ricotta mixture, 1/3 of the mozzarella, and a sprinkle of Parmesan
  6. Repeat layers twice more, finishing with sauce and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Then uncover and bake an additional 5–10 minutes until bubbly and golden
  8. Let rest 10–15 minutes before slicing
